The new year is here and I’m still going strong with my healthy lifestyle. Check out one of my all time favorite recipes below.
Hey lovies!! I’m super excited to be going into the new year with the same motivation and intensity about my healthy life journey as I had in 2016. It has been hard sometimes with my busy lifestyle, but with amazing recipes like this chicken Caesar pasta salad I’ve been full and on track. So, since you’re my favorites I thought it was only right to share this delicious recipe with you!
What you’ll need:
Bow tie Noodles
Cardini’s Caesar Dressing
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The first thing you’re going to want to want to work on is the chicken. I’ll be honest I’m trash at measuring. Some of my favorite seasonings are used in this recipe so I eyeballed it and probably went a little heavy. I added all the seasonings to both sides of the chicken while it was on the cutting board and a pan with evoo was heating. Next I placed the chicken in the pan and cooked each side for 10 minutes.
While the chicken is cooking I started a pot boiling for the bow tie noodles. #MajorKey add salt to the water!! Once the water is boiling it’s time to add the pasta to the pot. The pasta will cook for about 8 to 12 minutes, but be sure to check the box.
When the chicken is done place it on a clean, dry cutting board to cool. When the pasta is done, strain it in a colander and rinse it with cold water. Let the noodles sit in the colander to drain and dry.
While everything is cooling and drying it’s time for a little slice and dice. The cherry tomatoes get sliced, the lettuce gets double sliced, and when the chicken is cool it gets cubed.
The last thing to do is to combine everything in a large salad bowl and add the Cardini’s Caesar Salad Dressing. This dressing is delicious by the way! It pack so much flavor. I wouldn’t skip on this.
