Easy pieces to incorporate into your summer style.

Summer, summer, summertime. Long days, hot sidewalks and sticky nights are upon us. As I’ve stated before, summer is not my favorite season to style. There’s no room for layers so simplicity is key on all fronts. Light dresses, sheer tops, and flowy shorts are key in staying chic and cool in the summer. Summer requires little fabric and even less layering.
Most of us aren’t full-time fashion bloggers so updating your wardrobe isn’t as easy or affordable as calling up your favorite brand. Luckily, there are only a few pieces you need to keep your wardrobe double-tap worthy.
The chicest thing this side of Rihanna’s latest Met Gala gown. Co-ords come in satin, denim, cotton, even seersucker; the possibilities are endless. The monochromatic tones create a slimming effect, which makes this look perfect for every body shape. Date night just got a whole lot cuter.
As if. Did you really think mini bags were disappearing anytime soon? From a styling point, mini bags are the holy grail. A tiny little bag can give your outfit the bubbly pop you need for summer. Take a chance on a fanny pack this summer; it can be athletic or extra AF. A backpack, a crossbody, a fanny pack – the styles are endless and like really, really cute.
OFF THE SHOULDER
This summer trend is key for 2018, much like 2017. It instantaneously makes any outfit fun and feisty. It creates a flirty, feminine silhouette without being too extra. Because it was such a big trend in 2017, you can find dresses, tops, and cute crops everywhere this year.
