Slay Brows

You can’t tell me SHIT once my brows are done

There’s no doubt that I love me some makeup, but I’m seriously obsessed with eyebrows.  When I was younger I had these really awful, thin, over arched brows that I couldn’t believe people let me walk around with. Bold, filled in brows have gotten a much-needed upgrade over the past few years, and some of today’s biggest names don’t dare leave the house without theirs being on point.   On SnapChat (tiffsaysgo2) I recently shared a video of me with only one brow done, and the difference in my face was comical. Seriously, if people don’t think your brows make a difference they’re crazy.

It has taken some time and loads of practice,  but  I’ve gotten these brow together and my routine is way shorter than when I started. People frequently ask me to show them how I do them, so here you go. I personally prefer doing a more defined, “glam” brow, but this routine can easily be modified and lightened up for a natural looking brow.

Tips

  • Sharpen your brow pencil. I’ve found that using a freshly sharpened pencil will get cleaner lines. The sharpened point will allow you to have more control over the shape of the brow.
  • Keep a light hand. I can’t stress how important it is to gradually build your brows.  If you work with a heavy hand it’s easy to overuse your pencil and end up with angry cartoon brows.
  • Don’t overuse concealer. Halo brows are not what’s up.  Put a little concealer on your hand and use your small brush to make an accurate line around your brow.  THIS IS ALL THE CONCEALER YOU NEED.  Use your finger or a bigger concealer brush to spread everything nicely for a freshly done look without making them look outlined.
  • Fade in the front. Please don’t skip this step. Even if you go a little heavy with the color this step will help your brows to look so much more natural.
